Alpha King's festive cousin. A big American Xmas Porter brewed with English chocolate malt, Mexican sugar and, of course, tons of strange American hops.

Black, medium tan head. Aroma of smoke and chocolate. Bitter smoky finish, like a stout. Interesting.

Bottle at the Angry Fist of Santa tasting at Chris_o’s. Thanks Harry. Black, dark ruby edges. Thin tan head. Lovely choc, good hop. Slipped down really well. Smooth and utterly drinkable.

Bottle thanks to zathrus13. Pours with a large, light brown, creamy tight head with a black or extremely cloudy dark brown body, with awesome lacing and good retention. Aroma has nice alcohol, creamy chocolate, light coffee grounds and some ripe fruits. Taste is chocolaty and toasty with roasty coffee notes, slightly flowery and fruity aswell (similar to Duck-Rabbit Baltic Porter). Mouthfeel is lightly creamy with somewhat lively carbonation. Some light coconut flavor appears when it warms, well hopped. Very smooth taste, which is better than the harsh coffee grounds of a normal porter, but not quite as decadent as the other Imperial porters I have had (Black Butte XX and Decadence 2007).

2 or 3 yr old vintage courtesy of tpd975. Pours dark brown with garnet edges and thin tan head. The aroma is crystal malts then turning dark to burnt malts, a bit of dark chocolate along with some pine hops. The taste feels thin with some highly roasted to burnt malts, sweet malty to caramel-ness and a river of muted pine hops running out in the back. Into the finish the roasty malts and burnt malts linger deep into the after taste.

You just never know about these Christmas beers. Bomber pours a translucent, deep, dark brown with a thin white head that fades fast. Aroma is nutty with chocolate, slight coffee with some nice, citrusy hops rounding out the aroma. Flavor had plenty of chocolate and reminded me a bit of DFH’s Chicory Stout in that way, some spicy sugar, roasted malts, nuts and a dash of biscuit. Finish was dry and a little creamy with some lasting roasted and hop bitterness. One of the better "Christmas" beers I’ve had and a very nice offering from FFF.

22 oz. bottle from tjthresh. Pour is deep brown, almost black. Nice layering, with a three inch khaki head. Aroma of roasted malt, and bright pine hoppiness. Taste is initially quite roasty - bordering on coffee with a great hop bite / bitterness in the finish. Really nice porter, where hops enhance, rather than detract, from the flavor. Thanks fro this one Tom.

Very dark brown-black with a rich dark brown head that has good lasting power. Nice even lacing. Aroma was mainly the strong hop componant with some medium roasted and bittersweet chocolate notes. Flavors were rich chocolate and some coffee. Hoppy here as well. Nice smooth and soft carbonation level. Very interesting twist on the style.

Bomber; Nose of chocolate, coffee, , and toasted rye bread; very dark brown with a huge long lasting tan head; flavor of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and whole grains. Has a medium body and a prickly mouthfeel on the tongue and little hop bitterness in the finish.
