well this is interesting.......i’m getting alot of roasty chocolate, and malt in the nose, even a bit of pine, but the hops come through nicely. nice bitterness to it.
the stout and IPA are distinct, a very well done beer.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color, almost opague. Apple, plums, red berries ad a hint of roast in the aroma. Initial roast in the flavor, followed by oily hops, red berries and plums. Delicious beer, but lacking in balance.

22 oz bottle purchase at One Stop Market about 2 months ago. Aroma shows roasted malts and an assertive amount of citrus hops I was not expecting. Bold. Flavor has a good amount of the Boris with the citrus/grapefruit bitterness coming through in the finish. The base is Boris for sure with the IPA lingering and giving balance. Not sure I would have blended these two beers together but the result is really nice. This brewery continues to put out a nice product.

Bottle sample at a He’Brew tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Very dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma of piney hops, slightly "green", roastiness and some chocolate. Bittersweet flavor, roasty, with chocolate, piney hops and a nice bitter finish. Rounded mouthfeel. A good one.

22 oz. bottle, sent from Daniel719 (thanks a lot, Daniel), pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt, caramel, and a little resin. Flavour brings out dry roasted malt, caramel, some moderate dark fruits, and a strong piney hop character. Surprisingly dry for all the malt character that shines through. Highly drinkable considering the gravity on this.

Bottle. Pours black with a finger thick mocha head. Aroma is quite hoppy, but with nice burned notes, lactose and leather. Full creamy body with soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter with orange peel, before lots of roasted malts kick in with notes of tobacco and liquorice. Long bitter finish with eucalyptus, as well as some notes of leather. Rather strange, but very nice.
