Brewed specially for Iceland Air.

We brewed this uplifting pale ale to celebrate those glimmers of light that manage to conquer Iceland's winter darkness. Brewed in the American tradition and named after the lovely glow of Icelandic snow, Snæbjört ("snie-bioert") has a light golden color and is hoppy and fruity with a sweet aroma. Its alcohol is 5%, just like Iceland's average temperature.

Can on a flight: pours orange with a thick head. Aroma is piny and malty with a citrus touch. Taste is lightly bitter, somewhat sweet, mostly on the malty end of things.

330mL can on Icelandair (YVR-KEK), pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dry piney hops out front in classic west coast fashion, with a crisp biscuity malt base. Flavour is very piney, with lots of dry piney hops upfront, some light woody resins, and crisp biscuity malt. Piney, dry mouthfeel, with a crisp finish. Well-made, no-nonsense pale.
