Ciney Blond is een fruitig bier met 7% alcohol. Opvallend is het toch wel bittere karakter van dit speciaalbier. Verder is opvallend dat wordt aangeraden dit bier toch vooral niet te warm te drinken.

250ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear gold, thick white head. Aromas are fresh green apples, yeast spice, dough. Taste is sweet, light white sugar, light spice. Sweet finish.

Old rating. Clear deep golden ’edelbier’ with cream white, moussy head; malt extract or molasses dominate the taste, almost sickly sweet, corny too, honeyish, bit metallic, low hop bitterness in the finish. I will re-rate this but in my memory and according to the old notes I took, I liked this even less than its dark counterpart.

Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is hoppig en fris zuur fruitig, ananas, sinaasappel. Blijft redelijk lang hangen.

Clear golden colour, white foam. Medium carbonation. Sweet and malty with notes of ripe fruit. Easy drinkable. Medium body. Decent.

Bottle on the train to Poperinge. Clear golden liquid with medium white head. Aroma of dried fruit, bubblegum, banana, raw sugar, corn and sweet alcohol. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of banana, raw sugar and alcohol. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Meh.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

Erstaunlich herb-süßlich. Der Antrunk ist neutral-süßlich und im Hauptteil kommt eine recht starke Herbe dazu. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang-herb und leicht süßlich. Die 7% sind nicht zu schmecken. Insgesamt ist das Ganze aber doch etwas laff-neutral
--> nicht so wirklich überzeugend!
