Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, launched in 2010, is an intense beer, dark in colour and full in taste.
The aroma is elegant, spicy and slightly roasted.
The sophisticated blend of special kinds of malt give the beer a complex character, combining a delicate dryness with hints of cariander, dark fruits, anise and roasted chestnuts. The palate finishes in a syrupy taste. The refermentation in the bottle creates a living beer that will evolve over the years.
EBC 100, 22° plato.

Wondefully caramal full bodied Belgian quad. I love this style, and this is a great example. Delirium Cafe Brussels. (4.2 nov 2016) Bottle from albert heijn ams, just not good, a bit vinegar-like and over carbed. (4 years before expiry)

Tap at Delirium. Very rich, classic quad. Fruitiness (dried), raisins, hints of chocolate and caramel. Very tasty. Full bodied, slightly high carbonation. Great.

Parasta ennen marraskuu 2014. Milloinkohan pullotettu?
