19’ bottle. Pours a hazy golden with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is grape skin, barnyard, oak, citrus. Thin body, sweet grape, oak, funk, nice tartness, really enjoyed this.

14/VIII/21 - 75cl bottle, shared @ Cantillon brewery (Brussels), BB: n/a, bottled: 10/VI/20 (2021-794) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Rather cloudy orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very oxidized, lots of celery (!), funky, spicy, bit weird. Not very nice… MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice, funky, very herbal, spicy, lemony notes, very funky and bretty, little dirty. Aftertaste: very vegetal, soup, sweet touch, bit of a medicinal bitterness. This very under par from what we're used to...

Had it at 6%. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of wood, brett, funk, lemons, and malt. The flavor is sour with notes of lemon, brett, funk, eood, grapes, and malt, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle shared at the brewery. Lots of vin jaune, good oxidization but also nice lambic and funk. Quite woody. Really good.

Bottle @ Moeder Lambic Original as Lambic Jaune 2014. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head. Aromas of nutty sweet vin jaune, lightly oxidized vinous note, citrus, caramel, light funk, dark fruits, stonefruits. Taste has a very nutty flavour upfront followed by vanilla, dark fruits, caramel, citrus, stonefruits and oak. Finish is lingering and develops on the tongue for quite a while. Holy SHIT this is insane. Possibly the best beer I've ever had. Not a single thing I would change. --- Beer merged from original tick of Vin Jaune on 17 Aug 2021 at 14:17
