Bottle @ Fox and Hounds, Sønderborg. 8,5 % ABV. Dark brown, almost black body with a nice, lacing tan head. Relatively mild but really nice in the nose. Rye bread, dry fruit, hint of caramel and chocolate. Flavor is super smooth, mild roasted malt, fruity, dry fruit, balanced bitterness. Dangerously easy drinkable. Fine balanced body and nice, long lasting aftertaste. Great one.

Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate, coffee, some hops. Flavour is roasty, a bit hoppy, with some sweetness and bitterness in the finish. Definitely leans towards Black as opposed to IPA. Which is not a bad thing for this brew.

Сложный и сильный аромат хмеля, черного хлеба и легкой жженки с карамелью. Цвет насыщенный, очень темный и маслянистый. Вкус открывается алкоголем и легким хмелем. Само тело очень тяжелое и маслянистое. После глотка сразу начинается дико сильное и долгая горечь, которая сковывает всю полость рта и испепеляет все намеки на удовольствие.

Bottle 0,75 ltr: Very black brew with an smooth bitter taste and some hints of roasted malts and coffee. Not as bitter as its American counterparts.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Catada en tulipa, color marrón oscuro, casi negro, espuma beige de buena retención y abundante residuo. El primer golpe en nariz es buenísimo, lúpulo y malta tostada, algo de café, levadura. En boca una delicia, cuerpo completo, primer trago dulce y maltoso, acaramelado, con retrogusto marcadamente amargo y torrefacto. Divertida, equilibrada, compleja, deliciosamente perfumada y exquisita. Una pedazo de cerveza.

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma color cappuccino fine persistente, colore marrone/mogano intenso, al naso subito malto tostato caffè poi luppoli resina zucchero di canna, in bocca malto tostato caffè cioccolato spezie note erbacee e una punta di tabacco, corpo medio, watery, alcool perfettamente bilanciato, carbonazione moderata, amaro accentuato lungo nel finale. Non sono un esperto dello stile ma a me sembra una Stout un po' spinta. Comunque buona e di qualità. c. Cantina della birra 21.07.23

Fles 33cl thuis. Roasted malts, citrus, hoppig, redelijk bitter, wat liquorice, koffietonen, caramel, zachte zoeten. Goede balans. (18-5-2023).
