Aroma of wheat, banana, spicy yeast, citrus fruits. Flavour is fruity and sweetish. A surprisingly tasty Hefeweizen with some Witbier characteristics. ****** Enjoyed again at the brewery. As Mommeriete Weizen. Pretty citrussy Weizen. Wheat, yeast, soft banana. Easy and lightly hoppy, shades of Hopfenweisse in here.

Geprobeerd met LiekevdV bij de brouwerij. Het is een troebel licht geel bier met een wit schuim. Het aroma is gistachtig met tonen van banaan. De smaak is tarwe en gist achtig, lekker fris en wat zoet.

Golden color, cloudy. Banana, but especially butter in the aroma. Citric flavor. Thinnish and a bit sharp with mango, grapes and banana. Sweetish and very fruity, this beer. Thirst quencher, the herbalness is almost non existant. Fruit and butter in the aftertaste. Nice try. A quick taste in 2008 gave loads of banana and pineapple. A 2011 version, brewed in Veenhuizen, gave pineapple and tangerine in the aroma. Pale blonde and hazy. Malky flavor with cellar notes. Tangerine and hints of banana. Pineapple.

Bottle at Chriso going Dutch tasting, 03/07/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white covering come swirl. Nose is yeasty, citric rind, orange, apricot, light bread notes. Taste comprises citric peel, bitter orange, grass, spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a lick’o’spritz, semi drying close. So so citric lead hefe.

Bottle shared at chriso’s - London. Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a creamy, wimpy white head. A little farty on the nose, some ripe lemon, pale bread. Light sweet flavor with sugary fruit, pear, light citrus. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Simple, sugary finish, some wheat, lemon. Meh.
