Tap @ Drie Dorstige Herten, small sample. Cloudy golden color, medium head. Aroma of some banana and clove, but also some sulphury yeast. Bit sweet, bit bitter, bit watery actually. Not a very good example of a weizen to be honest, they can do much better at Mommeriete.

Bottle courtesy of Deanso. Wheaty yeasty aroma, leading to a smooth wheaty, slightly fruity flavour. Typical of the genre. A nice beer but not so special.

Bottled (thanks jbrus!). Hazy golden colour, small head. Aroma is yeasty, slightly acidic fruity, and quite earthy. Flavour is wheat, quite rich on the citrus fruits with a slight touch of earthyness and yeastyness. Quite watery. Acidicness reminds more of a witbier than a weizen.

Bottle, 5.3%. 1 month past BB date. Rough vegetable aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is citric with a distinct white wine/champagne sourness/tartness. Sticky maltiness. The tartness gives a metallic feel on the tongue.

Bottled (BB 07/2007)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo! Hazy amber color, small white head. Grainy, a bit fruity and sour nose. A bit sourish palate. There is lychee and banana in the flavor plus lime fruits. Is it as fresh also like this?. Now it was quite acidic, maybe off a bit.

(bottle, with many thanks to Bierkoning !) Hazy, golden coloured hue with a medium-sized foamy white head. Moderately sweet and yeasty aroma with strong fruity notes of ripe oranges, lemon peel. Sweet malty taste, slightly wheaty and yeasty with well-bound fruity notes; medium to light bodied with a lively carbonation; slightly yeasty and strong fruity finish. A nice Dutch interpretation of a Hefeweizen.
