Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with light tan head. Roast malt, touch of chocolate, mild sweet fruitiness. All starts off quite good, but there's an unpleasant bitter alcoholic after taste like a hint of rubbing alcohol in your throat. Starts good, finishes bad.

On tap at the source. Has a very black body and pretty good white head that goes away just too fast. There's a big lacquer thinner accent, tolulene maybe, on very soft roasted barley that just ain't right. In short, it smells like moonshine or jet fuel mixed with a bit of coffee. Flavour is a very nice sweet barley and creamy coffee, hints of scotch. Finish is full. This is actually quite nice though the aroma leaves a lot to be desired. I sure as Homer Simpson hope I'm not ingesting tolulene...

Malty and dark. Deep dark clear brown with a small beige head. Fruity and bitter with some dark notes. Not a fan.

473mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt, with a hint of vanilla, and some cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted malt and a little vanilla. Lightly sweet, with nice body. Pretty decent actually.
