Bottle. Pours a pitch black hue with a medium brown head that dissipates a bit. A big roast and dark fruit nose. Sweet, but not overly so, vanilla, big bourbon, some sweet chocolate, lactose, heat, lighter dark fruit. Quite nice. Not as sweet as I expected which is good.

500ml bottle at share. Dark, near black pour with a small tan head. Roasty malts in the aroma, along with a healthy dose of bourbon. Taste adds a few new flavors to the roast malts, savory spice, chocolate. Sweet, strong, tasty.

Tasting at Matt's
Dark brown colour, near black. Aroma of dark malt, dark malt, some dark fruit, alcohol. Good body strength, smooth carbonation, chocolate flavour, touch of bourbon, but also a lot of booze.
Good, but not well balanced.

Sweet dark bourbon and chocolate. Deep dark brown with a decent beige head. Sweet dark bourbon and chocolate. Spices make it seems a bit sour and off event though it isn’t. Odd.

500ml bottle at Matt's. Appearence: dark brown with a beige head Aroma: spices, rosehip and pharma notes, bourbon barrels that I dont like, heh Taste: similar, quite aggressive Overall: good of you like this type of bourbon barrels, but I dont. Unfortunately

500mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out spicy chocolate, bourbon barrels, and toasted malt. Flavour is both spicy and barrel-heavy, with heavy bourbon, spicy chocolate, and a little cinnamon. There's certainly some booze in here, but it's well-situated. Complex and layered. The barrels really bring this up a notch. Excellent.
