This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love. October release.

Norm's: pours copper with off white head. Aroma is floral and cracker, slightly older than it should be. Not too bitter. Maltyish and a bit sweet. Fine beer, but nothing special

Pineapple and pine. Rich hops profile, super fresh here. Pours clear golden with OK head. Bitter end. Nice stuff, bitter and medium to big bodied. Tap at Dominion Wine and Beer.

Draught @ George Keeley, Manhattan (Oct 2023). Faintly cloudy dark yellow with a foamy light beige head, faint citrus aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste with pineapple, thin smooth body, long bitter finish. Starts medium bitter, turns fully bitter.

Bottle at home just trying to add some Indiana ticks. Dirty orange looking brew and ok head. Nose is orange marmalade and herbal. Tatses of mandarin oranges, pinesol, herbs, peppery, touch chemical. Greasy palate.

From a bottle this stuff is strong bitter and nasty rude. It wannah kick booty. Big 'fool me' fer sher. By the label I thot it was oktoberfest, because on the label it says harvest: BUT NO! It's a freaken IPA. Not only that, it has the flavor of an imperial IPA; whew. Bitter straight up ass with a leaning towards a phenolic astringent bite finding its way in there. Think partially fermented and rotting green grapefruit rinds after all the juice was pressed out. Yes, mouth coating palate. Its clear pale and it has a thinnish creamy head. Nose is a little off, its sorta almost BO or skunk but not quite, just a passing hint on the olfactory. Yee, that Bitter hop impact plows across the field of my taste buds, Yeow. Hardly any co2 to distract from the buggy-ass bastard flavors. Now I think I'm getting a warming sensation all round ma' belly. Finish is long terribly bitter on style IPA, there you have it; yea it's one big fat on style terrible IPA. I think I'm getting a little buzzy at the end.

Vibrant gold pour. Thin foamy head around the rim. Citrus flavor with a pithy finish. Lots of pith on the palate. Nice and sweet initial drink. Bitter flavor lingers. Easy drinking. Not dry.

Surprised I didn’t like this more, what with its pedigree. Just never struck the balance I wanted between mineral bitterness, dank, and citrus. Offers up a firm bitterness and some pine, but also an herbal pungency I couldn’t quite dig. Not bad, just not what I want out of a fresh hop beer.

Tip Tap draught, 11/26/22. Clear, light copper-to-light-amber. Well-retained, off-white head. Hint of mid 2000s IPA sourness but otherwise a well-done mix of balanced peach and floral hop notes. Crystal malts, peppery hops and cracker linger. Soft, malty, white bread dough with heavy cracker and iced tea. Light pepper from hop with mild fruitiness and hints of soft grapefruit. Kinda scratchy, specialty malt heavy, twangy, with sour citrus and heavy sourdough. Gets twangier as it warms. Last sip was pretty gnarly.
