Fortune favours the barrel-aged cider. Cozy up with notes of caramel and vanilla reminiscent of a fone Chardonnay. Made from BC apples and aged in Woodenville Rye Barrels, Sweater Weather is a medium bodied with just a bit of bite.

Pours with really nice foam on a light clear gold body, heavy carbonation of small bubbles. The aroma is dry cider with nice oak and vanilla notes, rye whisky as well, very nicely balanced. Flavour is tart dry apple cider with modest rye whiskey on the back end, apple taking centre stage. Nice dry finish but ends up a bit too boozy. Nonetheless all things considered this is quite nice. 750ml bottle listed at 8.0% abv.

Draught at the Parallel 49, Vancouver
Very pale yellow, clean. Strong cider aroma, clean, with a hint of plastic. Very dry mouthfeel; banal flavour, with mild tartness, and mineral finish.
One more boring BC cider.

Baking spice and apple. Clear pale gold. Baking spice and decent apple with a fairly dry finish.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a hazy dull blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out gentle apple acidity and sweet apples. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle acidity, moderate sweetness, and a touch of funkiness. Nothing overly complex, but it works.
