This beer is brewed during the hop harvest with a portion of unkilned or “wet” hops fresh off the vine. Apricot in color, Broo Doo’s nose has dominant orange, pine sap and floral notes, balanced by a glazed nut and toffee malt body. This celebration of the hop harvest has intense tropical fruit, citrus and spicy accents that showcase the complexity of the hops we all love. October release.

Clear pale orange with a white head. Loads of floral and pine notes, plenty of sweetness, light malt notes underneath. Mostly, this is a floral/pine bomb from start to finish. Medium bitterness. Very enjoyable.

22 ounce bottle into signature teku glass, bottled on 9/24/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, apricot, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fantastic aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, apricot, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, apricot, mango, lemon/orange rind, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy hop earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent bitterness after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness; with increasing dryness and bitterness through the glass as more hop oils linger on the palate. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming lingering after the finish. Overall this is an incredible harvest IPA. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical/piney hops and moderate dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Clear Orange Amber Color, Huge Frothy Head That Lasts and Leaves Light Rings Of Lacing. Nice And Fresh Floral Hop, Light Citrus Aroma. Initial Pine Resin Bitter, Followed By Sweet Malty Finish. Afterwards Palate gets used to bitter so all I taste is sweet Malt. Medium Body, Soft Carbonation. Really Smooth. Hides ABV Real Well. Enjoyed It. Not Sure Whats Up with The Label... Troll, Unicorn, Princess... Is That Three Floyds? Really? Nice. Recommended...

Bottle - thanks Adam! Pours clear orange amber with a medium off-white creamy head that has a ton of staying power and laces well. Aroma is floral, pine, citrus, caramel. Flavor is about the same, very well integrated, light to medium malt sweetness and light hoppy resinous bitterness. Medium body, resinous mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle at Local Option, Chicago. Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is big rich hop. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a super rich smooth hoppy malt floral palate.
