Coffee mild

Our sales reports and Untappd data said that we should brew another dark mild. So we threw together a recipe for an imperial stout and made this big flavored mild with some of the extra runnings. It drinks out of its weight class for a 4% British style. Big, toasty, milk chocolate notes say, "Drink me at breakfast or dinner." We are not suggesting that you drink this at work (employers can be rough), but this could be the best SFW beer we have done yet. Balanced in every sense with a light carb level to keep the malt and coffee slow dancing together. Hey, its got a percentage of Cold Brew Coffee from some coffee wizards in Portland, OR. Coffee doesn't have beer points but this beer has coffee points.

Excellent addition to the style here. I feel like Matchless is a trustworthy source for less than typical brews done at an exceptional level. 16 oz can poured. Jet black appearance, thin tan head. Even has a coffee like appearance, to add to the coffee flavor profile. Solitary coffee roast aroma. Gentle flavor, coffee up front as expected. Not a whole lot more than that, which I like. It is exactly as advertised. Coffee mild. Doesnt sacrifice any flavor though. Plenty to go around. Delicious. A must try for the coffee/beer drinker in your life.

Lots of coffee and nutty notes. Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Nice coffee and some toasty caramel notes.
