(Bottle, 0.25 l - #06548 - batch nr. 742 - brewed 20.12.20122 - bbe 20.12.2016, from Alko Arkadia, 20130419) The beer poured mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, sweetness, hops and something I’m not familiar with, could be the yeast. Palate was medium bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts, yeast, molasses, hops and bitterness. Afertaste was sweet and bitter. The alchohol was bit too heavily present. On the other hand the hoppines was strong but it wasn’t too intense. Well done brew except the booziness

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, yeast, and rice. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, rice, sake, and yeast, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

25 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden brown to orange. Toasted malty, oxidised and toffee. Sweet, caramelish and light overripe fruity. Overripe fruity, toasted malty and caramelish. Lingering sweet and toasted malty finish.

bottle at Chris0 ... copper ... thin tan lacing.... soft toffee malts nose ... sweet toffee malts ... juicy fruits ... pinapple ... quite a lot of what ive always though of a ricy flavour ... but must be the yeast... interesting but its not working for me.

250ml bottle, batch 742, No.06762, from Vinmonopolet Nettbutikken. Low, but lasting off-white head, fragile lacing. A slight haze to a dark apricot coloured body. Port-like aroma of sweet berries, mild alcohol vapour, and herbal dryness. The taste character could best be described as mild kind of sweet strawberry jam, a touch of fruitcake maybe, semi-dry, leading to a bittersweet ending with alcohol warming down the throat. Smooth. A fine Saturday night sipper, preferable to the 2. Edition (at home in Tromsø, 16.03.2013).

Flaska från Brill, Norge-provningen, Söt och fruktig och bärig doft. Torkad frukt, karamel, hallonbåtar och söt malt. Munkänslan är lite oljig, smaken söt, lätt vinös, väl inbäddad beska. Mycket söt övermogen frukt, persikor, mango, röda söta bär, hallonbåtar och en lite twist som kanske kommer från sakejästen. Elegant dessertöl, massor av smaknyanser. Mycket gott. Smells of dried fruits, caramel, fruity yeast esters and malts. Heavy sweet, very fruity, distinct sake yeast, dried fruits and delicious malt flavors. Subtile bitter i thought at the first sip but the heavy 100 ibu reveals itself after some more sips. Very nice. Oily texture, full bodied and soft to flat carbonation.

25cl bottle shared by a friend. Pours deep orange to brown in colour, with an off-white head. Sweet, fruity and caramelly with lightly spicy and wooden notes. Very sweet and smooth with a lightly dry finish with some spicy notes. Nice dessert beer. (2013-02-23)
