Elegant, innovative, complex: Black Tuesday provides a uniquely elevated beer-drinking experience unlike any other. Rich, complex flavor from time spent aging in bourbon barrels mingles effortlessly with distinct notes of crème brûlée, poached figs, and milk chocolate. Surprisingly smooth at 19.7% ABV, this is a beer you won’t soon forget.

10/05/2025 Sample at Palace Hall, Malmö May tasting - dark sweet roasted malty with big hits of bourbon, opulent smooth silky chocolate, some sticky toffee and caramel malts, full bodied, sweet bourbon infused lingering malty finish. Lovely.

Bottled 750ml. -at Goblet Zagreb, shared with Marko. 74 euros for the bottle. Pitch black coloured, minimal brownish head that went away fast, chocolate, barrel and light alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, barrel, some alcohol and licorice with bitter chocolate finish. Quite nice.

0.75l bottle, with Ogi, Veco, Brada and Ivan P. Oily black-brown body, no head. Chocolate, cocoa, cookie aroma, soft, boozy, bit dusty barrel. Lean, dry taste, raisins, heaps of licorice, extremely well hidden alcohol, some roasty notes, light tartness, bitter finish. Not an enormous fan, but respect this.

Black Tuesday for a Black Tuesday, big thanks to Bjrn! Dark sweet and roasted malty with powerful chocolate and bourbon coalescing throughout, some ashy charred roast, ultra smooth, full bodied, lovely boozy warming into the dark malty bourbon finish.

Czysto degustacyjne piwo

Sampled 2025 . No (none) negative age influences yet. Still thick, less sweet than a fresh one usually is, still bourbon but not as hot. 'drinkable', even at nearly 20 ABV. This aged gracefully; it rounded out just as you'd hope to. Overall, great beer (I always seem to enjoy BT) , great vintage, and greatly aged.
