The hops steal the show in this Fresh Hopped Blonde Ale while a simple grain bill gives just enough sweetness and body to provide balance. The brew day was just getting started in New West, when Centennial hops were being picked from the bines at Chilliwack Hop Farms and rushed over to the waiting brew. What resulted is a lively aroma of freshly zested lemon and grapefruit, hints of pine, and subtle notes of freshly cut grass. SOFRESH starts juicy and ends with a smooth bitterness resulting in a beer that’s “so fresh and so clean, clean.”

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy golden color with compact head. Tiny traces of cereals, the mouthfeel is rather dry, it has strong bitterness, but little hop quality in aroma (6+) and flavor (5.5); traces of manure in the aroma; the flavor is also slightly sour and vegetable, this is less appreciated.
In the end, pointless creation, mediocre beer (drinkable), and no fresh hop character.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and fresh leafy hops. Flavour is fresh, with lots of leafy hops and fresh bready and biscuity malt. Fresh and highly drinkable. Impressive for a blonde.
