Arthur (1922-2005) was our grandfather’s youngest brother; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to him and his 13 siblings. In his honor, this Farmstead® ale is crafted from American malted barley, American and European hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Arthur.

My first from this beloved brewery. Instantly beloved in this house. Just malt, hops, yeast, and well water, but gorgeously blended into angel’s drool. In a good way. 4/2019

Hazy golden coloured. Funky, light sour, citrus. Quite light, cidery. Very nice.

The ultimate saison flavor I chase everyday. Soft rustic upfront funk with a sweet finish. Perfect carb still.

Thick, whipped eggwhite-like head over hazy yellow beer. Spicy, herbal nose with other grains. Spicy with a light, mild sourish edge, wheat and yeast. Medium carbonation, light acidthinning, no acidburn. HF are one of the few USA breweries that manage to achieve mild sours in the right way. Here's another example. Thanks to M&L!
