Arthur (1922-2005) was our grandfather’s youngest brother; Hill Farmstead Brewery rests upon the land that was once home to him and his 13 siblings. In his honor, this Farmstead® ale is crafted from American malted barley, American and European hops, our distinctive farmhouse yeast and water from our well. Unfiltered and naturally carbonated, this is the ale that I dream to have shared with Arthur.

Pale yellow, clear, no head. Light and fruity, tart, dry. Citrus, florals, smooth. A tiny bit of funk, finishes dry. Very nice.

Tap at BeerOut, Forlì, Italy. Pours classic gold, with fine white foam. Aroma is delicately funky, grainy, citrus. Body is average, with quite a carbonation. Some astringency. Taste is medium-high sour, with some underlying sweetness. Final is average.

Stone fruit, apricots, still firm sourness, a bit sharp, tasty, but like the more subtle balanced stuff... ok-ish ...

Hazy golden coloured. Funky, light sour, citrus. Quite light, cidery. Very nice.
