An arabier is a pure malt beer 8°vol/alc brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness is declining with the time. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C. Cheers!

Bottle split with Niller, sourced from Toft Vin, Copenhagen - pours gold with a big off-white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste, some dried fruit, caramel sweetness, brown sugar, yeasty, medium to high carbonation, medium sweet into the finish. Nice drop.

Clear golden, airy white head. Malty aroma, honey, wood and tobacco, floral yeasty notes. Flavour is fruity, slightly rough, floral bitterness (?!). Honey-like sweetness, hoppy bitterness. Alcoholic and rather light. Quite complex and very well balanced.

Bottle, direct from the brewery, via a friend. Hazy gold, with a few floaters. Big, bubbly, expanding, off white head. Nose has a nutty, grainy, sweet maltiness. Floral, fruity, pungent hop. Soft, fruity esters. Taste is fruity bitter. Soft, floral sweetness. Lovely, soft, foamy mouthfeel. Great depth. More of the pungent hop bitterness on the finish. Lovely beer. Super drinkable.

Bottle at home. Blonde with orange hue and huge gushing white foamy head. In a way the big head on top of the orange beer resembles an Arab wearing a turban. Maybe that explains the name? [Looking at a glass with 1/5 beer and 4/5 foam]. Sweet malts, yeast, lemon(peels), coriander, cloves, lots of spices and hoppiness. Over moderate bitter on top of an over medium sugary sweet backbone. Body is slightly heavier than light. Finish is almost tart, yoghurty/yeasty. Carbo is average and well balanced with the beer. Interesting stuff. "Imperial witbier"/"Witbier tripel".

Draft @ De Dolle. Shared with the UnPer100 crew. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet houblonné vert, finement épicé, note noble et frais, le tout s’assimilant fort à une signature belge surtout dans la levure. Pointe de fruits blancs; poire et pêche. Palais garde un profil bien belge, amertume modérée et noble, retrouve un fruité modéré, également portant sur la poire et pêche, mais ponctué par un malté pils, pâle voire Munich qui ajoute à cette impression de chaleur de cette blonde titrant tout de même à 8%. Fini est sec gardant un profil de grains concassés.

Unclear, amber colored, nice frothy off white head with nice lacing. aroma is some caramel malt, bit yeast, fruity, citrusy and herbal and very spicy. Taste is medium sweet caramel and candy sugar, some fruits and straw, citrus and a whole lot of spicy hoppy niceness. Medium+ bitterness, dry finish and a lasting bitter aftertaste, a bit bready in the finish. Medium bodied, average carbonation. With Chouffe Houblon, the best Belgian IPA! (on tap, De Dolle Brewery, Diksmuide)

Bottle. No date on cap. Refrigerated and seems fairly new. It pours an orange color with a massive, frothy off white head that shrinks within a minute or two. The aroma jumps out as alcoholic with some dried fruit esters of apricot, plum and pineapple. Very light honeyed malt with bready yeast. The flavor is nice balanced yeasty basement with strong hop flavor of flowers, herbs, pineapple and apricots. Strong spicy, floral bitterness. Light acidity and honeyed malt on the palate. Good soft mouthfeel with strong carbonation. A solid Belgian Strong.

Huge gusher, shooted the cap in my face. Hazy golden color with huge white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruit-estery, yeasty. Taste is fruity with pink grapefruits, yeasty, a bit malty, pleasantly bitter finish. High, but soft carbonation. Very good!

Refrigerated 11.2 oz. brown bottle, bottled on May 2014 poured into (gusher) Trappist glass. Hazy deep golden with huge white head. Aroma is fruity, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is fruity (Orange), yeasty, some hops, and dry finish. More like a saison. Not for me.
