33cl bottle. Reddish with off-white head, good lacing, beautiful lasting. Aroma is moderate toasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, vinous and sweet. Flavour is sweet and long on palate, alcoholic. Good balance. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high.

Länge sedan jag drack en Leffe men första gången jag provade Radieuse. Den sticker ut lite med sin syrlighet a la maltvinäger. Den balseras väl av karamellsötma med honung och torkad frukt. En lite stramare finish med bra beska gör också att den håller ihop väl. Minus för mycket metallsmak i början.

14/08 0.33 l bottle from an Interspar, Udine. It poured cloudy brown body with medium sized brownish head. Fine caramel and yeasty aroma with typical belgian spices. Touch of tart hops. Caramel, dark fruit and spicy flavor, clove, pepper and cinnamon mostly. Strange sharp bitterness probably from alcohol ruins it a bit. Medium to full in body, with longer, vanilla and yeasty finish with that strange grainy/alcohol bitterish note still remaining. Warming at the very end. Quite fine with enough flaws, I would say about the average for its style.

Clear reddish brown beer, off-white creamy head, pretty stable and adhesive. Aroma: some caramel, little fruity, citrus, candi sugar on warming up. MF: ok carbon, medium body, bit watery texture. Taste: sweet caramel, sour fruits, citrus notes, bit watery. Aftertaste: little hops, citrus, sweet sugary ending.

Beautiful red brown colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, red fruits, some malt. Flavour sweet, dark red fruits, caramel, candy sugar. Distinct alcohol notes. The fine, bitter hops flavours the label promises are virtually non-existent. Rather OK, but too sweet.
