Brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of roasted grains, caramel, a touch metallic. Taste is very mildly bitter with a toasted character. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Okay for casual drinking.

Cake dough aroma with a touch of roasted malt. Brilliant flavor: chocolate, raisin, malt, cake dough, coffee and even licorice. Both taste and complex, very likeable beer. Just a bit more body and this would be a 4+ beer.

0.33 l bottle from local 'trinkgut', best before June 2019. Clear, deep brownish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty and a bit roasty aroma of lots of caramel, honey, toasted nuts and hints of raisins. Moderately sweet, gently malty, moderately bitter taste of caramel, toasted nuts, some honey and hints of raisins, followed by a short, just slightly bitter and a little metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable but not really great, pretty thin and anaemic.

Clear deep amber brown colour, good frothy beige head, mostly lasting, light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, candy sugar, light earthty. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, onset roasty, caramel, bit grainy. Lingering roastiness in the sweetbitter aftertaste, bit thin finish, earthy. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, quite nice brew with a rustic earthy feel.

Bottle. Brown with a small head. Weak aroma of malts with a hint of roastiness. Taste is mostly malts and a little bit of caramell and gives way to a slightly sour bitterness. Medium carbonation. Yes, it’s very süffig but also watery and boring.
