Amber, hazy beer with a medium-grain and persistent head. Hops, citrusy and fruity notes stand out in the scent, and are well balanced by notes of biscuits and caramel.

When sipped, the moderate bitterness is accompanied by hints of nuts - especially almonds - and soon vanishes into tastes of caramel and biscuits which create a good body and a pleasant balance.

Bottle on the train from Florence to Roma, 26/09/16. Hazed golden amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is caramel, light fruit esters, brown sugar, airy malts, light booze notes, dried fruits. Taste comprises fruit cake, raisins, dates, biscuit malt, toffee, candied fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light hop bitterness in the close. Tasty enough offering if lacking depth for the ABV. Comes over a little like a Belgian strong to me.

Draught @ Open Baladin, Rome. Draught said "Open" and chalkboard "Open Amber." Aroma is odd and musty with orange and citrus. Flavour is tart with citrus, hayish malt and toffee candy. Weird but not bad. Too much citrus for my taste though. Turns into sweet toffee candy at the end of the glass - tastes better now.

75 cl bottle, amber color, short but thick creamy offwhite head. IPA nose. Caramel hops, candy sugar, syrup, biscuits, nuts, raisins and american hops. Taste is sweetish to bitter, full body, thick texture, soft carbonation. Sticky finish, lingering bitterness. Nice.

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky amber color with small creamy off-white head, plenty of floating particles and sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, dried fruits, wood and herbal hops. Taste starts with refreshing fruity acidity, but quickly gets substituted by sweet and rich biscuity maltiness with sherry note, spicy and alcoholic mouthfeel, while finish is moderate bitter with long aftertaste. Full body, syrupy texture and lively natural carbonation in palate. Full of malt and hops, however still well balanced...
