Amber, hazy beer with a medium-grain and persistent head. Hops, citrusy and fruity notes stand out in the scent, and are well balanced by notes of biscuits and caramel.
When sipped, the moderate bitterness is accompanied by hints of nuts - especially almonds - and soon vanishes into tastes of caramel and biscuits which create a good body and a pleasant balance.

Bottiglia.

Hazy amber. Aroma is yeast dried fig raisin light cookie dough also hints of toffee adn rosemary. Taste is hoppy fruity peach with toffee sweetness and fresh yeasty spices. Finish of bitter hops with more yeast spices. Complex stuff with good yeast character. Balanced. Definitely Belgian vibes here.

COOP Luino 20.09.20

Very interesting. Rated as found, after double-checking to confirm this IS Open Amber and NOT a Belgian beer or saison poured by mistake. On tap at Open Baladin, Rome on 6th July 2018. Hazy copper with yellow tinted foam and full patterned lacing. Pungent yeasts and sweet malts in aroma. Intensely pungent and spicy in-mouth with pine resins and sweet malts continuing. A lactic touch. Resounding spicy and peppery finish with fruit and malt in the background. Beer poured at 2310 on 6th July. Passes as very good Belgian beer rather than a straight amber. The taste and texture matched neither the Brewers description nor the ratings that precede mine; nevertheless an absolutely extraordinary beer for the name it was given.

Draft at La Casina Del Bosco, Rimini, Italy. Pours light brilliant amber, with moderate white foam, very fine. Aroma is nice of caramel and malt. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is intensely sweet, maybe a bit too much, with limited bitterness. Finish is long and sweet.
