Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a reddish brown with a small foamy cream head and good lacing. There’s nuts and malts in the aroma. In the mouth it is smooth and slightly sweet but a little watery. Flavour has malts, nuts and coffee with hints of berry fruits coming through later. Finish is slightly dry. This is decent.

Cask at the Colmore, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark amber colour with a lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, light yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, malty, nutty, earthy, light caramel, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the King William IV; clear dark amber pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has some fruits and caramel, taste has autumnal fruits, malt loaf.

[5/14/18] Cask at Charlie's Bar in Copenhagen. Clear brown. Malt, some nuts, caramel, sweetish, bitter hops finish, medium-bodied. OK.

Cask at Cloisters. Pours clear dark amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of toffee, malt, light stone fruit. Taste is light nutty sweet, faint herbal note, clean finish.

Cask @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Dark clear golden with a thick creamy head. Has a sugary-hoppy maltiness, finishing with a low to medium bitterness.
