On tap at Devil's Elbow. Pours clear pale blonde. Lots of apple skins on the nose; slightly sour with some must. Flavour is less pleasant with a more fibrous apple core character coming through. Still some of the initial must, but not enough. It is fairly dry, but other than that this needs work.

Poured from the tap. Clear blonde with white rim. Apple skin with mildly dry finish. Lacking depth.

Oh-em-ghee they are adjusting the lighting in this joint on a saturday night. But it won't help: this cider is a very bright yellow with no foam to speak of. Ho Lee Phuque ( a Vietnamese friend of mine) says it looks like too much pee after Ho Chi Minh Day. In all honesty it tastes like semi rotten apples, with a somewhat dry finish. An okay cider in fact, dry enough and holding back on the sweetness; however still not spectacular.

On tap at Parallel 49, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of apple core, with crisp apple skins. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of apple core dominating and some green apple skins. Too much apple core and little depth. Meh.

Draught at Parallel 49, Vancouver
Water, barely coloured with pale blond. Lean, not as dry as described, with pear accent, very clean but also very basic, like all local ciders.

Can - Light sulphur and green apple skin. Pale clear gold. Very dry, green apple skin, touch of candy and a dry long finish.
