We all have something or someone that is dark and bitter and best served cold as ice. Now you can have one from Russell instead of from your past! Our Black IPA gets its dark color from Midnight Wheat and Blackprinz Malt. This IPA is packed with Cascade, Centennial and the new German hop Ariana giving it a little German twist. Malty and Refreshing sounds a lot better than Dark and Bitter—too bad you can’t call an Ex malty and refreshing.

Black with thick tan head. Dry roast nose and palate with medium strength lasting hop bitterness

Bottle - Dark roast, chocolate and some mild hops. Jet brown with a decent beige head. Dark cocoa, light chocolate and roast. Hops are there, but just not enough for my taste.
