Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy light amber color with creamy head. The aroma is nice, light lemony hops. Dry mouthfeel, with quite good malt and toffee flavor, lightly crispy too, and bold bitterness, ending with a touch of citrus fruits and hop resins.
Not spectacular, but quite good.

Lots of light citrus on the aroma. Orange and grapefruit. Color of clear, light gold reminiscent of the name with a very nice full white head. Lacing down the glass as well. Grapefruit packs a soft punch here with slight bittering and a little astringency which detracts slightly from the dry finish.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy golden, small head. Minty black currant aroma. Dry with clean mouthfeel and light body. Some butter, but black currant dominates. Mid bitter finish. Too clean and hard.

Bottle @ home. Mildly cloudy, yellow orange appearance with a white head. Mild earthy, grapefruit hoppy, orange citrusy, a touch tangy aroma. Grapefruit hoppy, sweet creamy pale malty flavor. Refreshing, citrusy ale. Probably would be a great session beer- glad I tried this again after a couple years of missing it.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours hazy light golden with a white head. Aroma of floral hops, biscuit and wheat. Flavour is quite florally, with wheat and biscuit, finishing with bitter floral hop notes. Decent.

Hazy amber beer. Softish dry palate. Malty and a little spicy. A touch of banana. Unfortunately it doesn’t hang together particularly well. The different elements jar and don’t blend.

12oz bottle from Albertsons in Boise
Appearance: Pours clear light golden with a nice frothy white head and some lacing left in the glass
Aroma: Citrus spices
Taste: Sweet malts, spices and citrus, medicinal flavors in the finish that linger
OK, it just doesn’t do much for me.

Bottle as shown. Pours a clear copper gold with a large frothy off white head that lasts awhile leaving sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a strong floral hops and grapefruit. Thin mouthfeel with a crisp hop and nice light bitter finish. Easy to drink, a very good American pale ale from Deschutes.
