Cask@GBBF 2010. Bronze beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly hopped, and the flavour is dulled hopped. Overall a fairly average beer.

Moderately hopped, for the style. Copper color. A little bitter, but overall lacking in flavor and aroma. It needs more hops. Palate is a little light.

Bottle @ J.C.G US Tasting, Pt 3. As sumer ale. Pours slight unclear golden with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is fruity hops. Mostly orange/tangerine. Medium and smooth palate. Dry bitter end

I had this as part of a sampler at Deschutes in Portland, OR. My future wife selected this because of the name...she says it was because it looked like it would be good, but I think it’s because of those tweenie vampire movies. Anyways, I thought Twilight was pretty good. Aroma is of lemongrass, hops, and hay...kind of a straw very light aroma. Appearance is clearish gold with a frothy head. Taste is a refreshing crisp pale ale, pretty good.

12 oz bottle. Smells piney, citrusy, grainy. Pours cloudy gold with little head, good lacing. Tastes fruity--pineapple and mango definitely. Thin body, low carbonation, malt in the aftertaste. This is unlike any pale ale I’ve ever had. I’m not sure they got the category right on this one.

Tap - clear golden brew - fizzy body - moderate head - nose of toasted grains and dry, herbal hops - the flavor is a bit muddled and indistinct - nondescript maltiness and dry, crisp bitterness - not a whole hell of a lot going on, but it went well with my burrito.

Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Poured a pallid gold with a thin white head. Sweet fruit in the nose. Really rather uninspiring flavour. Some vague malt and smothered hop, but nothing is really allowed to shine. Certainly glaggable but a bit of a drab disappointment on the whole.

One-third pint, gravicask from the USA bar at GBBF 09. Missing head, clear amber body. Inviting smell of apricote. Malt-fruity taste with underlying dry yeast and smooth bitterness to the ending. Easy to drink, refreshing and moreish (London, 05.08.2009).

Cask@GBBF 2009. Deep golden color, small white head. Grapefruity, sweaty hoppy aroma. A bit pear sweetness in the background, grapefruity hops. Easy to drink.

Cask at GBBF 2009. An amber coloured beer with a decent head. Aroma of honey and malt. Tastes hoppy, light, fruity. An easy drinking summer beer.
