A reddish brown beer, a head is dense, medium and beige. Aroma has dried fruits, dry cake, some oranges, caramel, hint of bread. Rich. Taste has dried fruits, richness of malts, some orange marmelade. Good balance with sweetness, not too much. Some breadyness and some bitterness in the end. Medium+ bodied, pleasant smooth and enjoyable. Dominance of malts, great and dried fruity beer.

Tap@Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2016, Copenhagen - amber pour with off-white head. Sweet toasty and roasted malty aroma and taste, prominent caramel notes, some treacle, cocoa notes, warming boozy bear hug at the end.

Bottle purchased at One Stop Market, Haverhill. Deep garnet brown color, no head. Aroma is molasses, raisins, prunes.
Flavor is a copy of the aroma. This is pretty much spot on a German example with a higher elevated alcohol level. Fuller body with a sticky texture over the palate. Of course this is sweet, such is the style. I think this very well crafted.

(Draught at Delirium Hoppy Loft, Brussels, 14 Oct 2015) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit, raisins, prunes and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with dried fruit, raisins, prunes, caramel and a slightly vinous finish with a balanced spicy bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Potent and warming, but still in good balance and really tasty. Very nice.
