Tutta la carica aromatica di una IPA poggiata su un letto di malti scuri. Ha un ampio spettro di profumi che vanno dalla menta alla resina di pino, dal cacao tostato alla buccia di agrumi. Amara e piccante ma anche ben bilanciata. Mai giudicare solamente con gli occhi.

Pours hazy dark brown, blackish, with a lasting, small, frothy, beige head; little lacing. Aroma of coffee & cream, 'mocha cookie', black tea, walnut, pistachio, bayleaf, orange peel. Medium malty sweet onset with hints of cream & mocha, turning light to medium hoppy bitter backed by orange peel, some grapefruit, a hint of coffee and supported by sourish dark fruit. Dryish, herbal & peppery hoppy finish, faint grapefruit & lingering roastedness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice one!

On tap at Vrteška 2017, shared with Višnja 666! Dark brown, small tan head. Medium hopped, herbal. Dark malts. Light hoppy bitterness. Mild and nutty malt flavors. Smooth texture, medium body, soft carbonation, moderate lasting dry finish. Lighter version (!).

(Bottle) Almost black colour with big, frothy, beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of black rye bread, liquorice fudge, chocolate, orange peel and a touch of mint. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with black rye bread, coffee, treacle, chocolate, orange peel, liquorice, grapefruit and a balanced citric/piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, soft and rounded mouthfeel. A touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Tap at Vrteška. Almost pitch black, almost no head. Orange and caramel in the aroma, peachy, fresh, solid altiness. Interesting taste... solid hoppiness, green fruit, herbal notes, dried figs, caramel. Interesting, drinkable, different. And some more descriptors I can’t decypher. What’s sure is that I definitely liked it.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Pours black with a beige head. Aroma and taste comprises roasted malty and hoppy notes, some caramel sweetness in the background, light cocoa, burnt charred malty, hoppy bitter finish. Nice!
