0.33 l bottle from 'Slijterij Gérard' as a free gift (many thanks!), best before March 2022. Hazy, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly yeasty-spicy and a little fruity-floral aroma of vanilla, clove and some honey. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of vanilla, honey Belgian candy, some clove and a touch of straw, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit grassy finish with a touch of cardboard. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pretty simple, somewhat musty, not that nice overall.

Old bottle at home (tht 2015), I think from Countbeer? Beer came gushing out of the bottle. Color was still mostly clear golden. Off white head. Aroma’s of dried fruit, sweet, sourish, a bit herbs. Retronasal it’s sweet, a bit herbs. Flavor is rather sweet, fruity. Medium bodied. Apart from the gushing not even too bad.
