On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Croatia. Hazy light red, medium off white head, lasting. Heavily hopped, biscuit, tropical, rubber. Medium body, bitter but not to much. Light hoppy finish. Impressive hop amount, but without knowing which hops are used at which brewing stage, this means little to me. Tropical hops dominate.

Bottle from Le petit L′ouest in Shimokitazawa. Pours a hazy orange copper with a big 2 finger soapy head that mostly lasts throughout. Lemon zest, citrus pith, grapefruit, pine resin and light tropical fruit on the nose with some light biscuit notes. Some early sweetness on the palate, but ends with a strong bitter punch. Agressive IPA, with a witches brew of hops. Bitter but fun.

330ml bottle. Light hazy golden orange color with white head. Hoppy aroma, light floral, citrusy fruity, tropical fruity, piney, caramel malty. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation

(330ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Jan 26 2015) Pours hazy feel orange, huge off white head. Basically all the hop aromas at once! A little bit more towards the orange flesh and tropical fruit end of things. The palate is similar with some caramel sweetness and pretty minimal bittering on the back end. Light alcohol and astringency with citrus pith bitterness. Kind of interesting but a bit of a clusterfuck on the tongue too. Lacks some elegance. Still a quite drinkable IPA if not an amazing one.

@Bishops Arms, Vasagatan (backlog). Orangeish amber colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, that leaves good lace. Aroma is fruity, floral, mild honey and resin like notes as well as some toffee and mild bready notes. Flavour is tropical fruits, pine, resin, wood, some mild floral, earthy and grassy notes as well as some slight caramelly and toffeeish notes. Pleasantly balanced, and the hops do become quite nice, although I expected something quite harsh.

Tap at Mikkeller, Bangkok. Poured a hazy medium amber with a bubbly round head. The aroma is pine needle, resin hop. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter with a big woody, resin hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I don’t think I’ll ever have another beer with this many hops in it. The sad thing is that I don’t think it worked that well. Give me a single hop Citra any day!
