Pours semi-foggy orange with minimal foam, the aroma is deep apple skin, full and sweet, but not cloying and the alcohol isn't present. Flavour is soft cider with mellow barrel wood notes. Alcohol has a warming effect but doesn't detract in any meaningful way. Not bad but I didn't find a wow factor in this either.

Draught at Parallel 49, Vancouver
Cloudy orange-golden colour with no head. Strong aroma, bourbon and apple juice. Low carbonation, hence soft mouthfeel; wisely this still has some sugars, the apple cider flavour is strong, there is some bourbon, traces of apple vinegar, and mild tannins. The alcohol is not very strong.
A bit rough, but intense, very interesting.

Draft - Lightly cooked apple and some barrel. Cloudy gold with almost no head. Strong but smooth apple with a touch of tannins and acid. Very odd. Strong nose and flavours without the sharp edges. Very much apple forward and warming with the alcohol.
