swing top bottle 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Slovak crew (Gurthnar, Cuso and Miro) and Marko. Pitch black, medium sized brown head, light chocolate with whiff of smoke in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa powder and hint of alcohol with dry bitterish finish. Had much better representatives of the style. 8.0%ABV

Bottle, purchased by Gurthnar at Pivovarsky Dum as their RIS, turned out to be this. So yeah, they seem to be the same, but I’ll leave the judgment to more local people. Thanks for sharing, guys! Poured a pitch black body with a dark off white head, medium sized. Full, simple malty taste, chocolate, light propolis. Simple, dry taste, dark chocolate, slightly roasty, just a touch tart, medium to low hoppy bitterness. I actually dig the taste, but it just seems too light. Had far worse than this!

Bottle 0,33l from U Medvídků, Prague. Completely black colored beer. A bit sour aroma of heavily roasted malts, some tones of coffee, chocolate, some old embers from the fireplace. Flavor is fruity sour, some roasted malts tones on background, moderately bitter and coaly aftertaste. Full body.
A bit odd sour stout, not bad.

bottle, bought at the brewpub. Deep black colour, almost oily consistency and looks, huge brown head. I’ve never seen such a brown head. Very aromatic hcocolatey nose. Full-bodied, lovely malt flavours with caramel, lots of chocolate and a touch of freshly ground coffee. Lingering chocolatey finish. Delicious and very, very moreish, despite the strength.
