On tap at Abnormal, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is intense, with amazing maple syrup character, followed by light vanilla and coffee. Flavour somehow manages to express intense maple syrup without it being too sweet, with robust coffee balancing this out. Vanilla beans add just enough accentuation. Phenomenal beer.

Yay, maple. I love maple. Thick, maple, chocolate, caramel sauce mix. I'd happily dip my pancakes in this. Sweet, super rich and sticky. Delicious stuff, almost too much, but not just yet.

Thnx to Brian. Pours black, small mocha head. Smell is intense, maple, roasty. Taste is full, maple, roasty, chocolate, coffee, mild vanilla. Silky body, could be a tad more thick, low Carbo. Awesome beer. Goddamn, abnormal, you guys are Killin it! Only minor thing is it could be a bit thicker, and the vanilla coffee combo creates a weird sweetness, that luckely fades away fast.

(Tap sample @ MBCC Red Session, Copenhagen) Black pour with a small pale tan head. Notes of dark caramel and maple fudge, deeply malty, chocolate, vanilla, light but earthy coffee-type roast meshing with the grain bill, syrupy, sweet and lightly to moderately bitter with roast into the finish, intense overall, alcohol hidden. Full bodied, viscous, softly carbonated. Big serious business bursting with flavours though walking towards the sweet side of the drinkability line if you wanted to have much of it.

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - pours black with a firm beige head. Sweet and roasted malty, with lashings of sweet caramel and toffee, some coffee roast in support, smooth mouthfeel, some nutty nuances, light vanilla accents, decadent medium bitter chocolate and rich sweet and sticky resonating maple syrup coalesce into the close. Beer and brewer of MBCC 2017 for me. Immense.
