Draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver
Black color. Moderately roasty, the mild sweetness balances the malts and adds a bit of body, the raspberry is very mild but I could do even without the mild sour and vegetable note from it.
Quite good.

Bottle - Light raspberry and dark sweet chocolate. Deep brown with a small light brown head. Nice raspberry and dark cocoa with a silky mouthfeel. Quite nice.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out subdued raspberries, with toasted malt and a sort of hearty oat character. Flavour is hearty, with a nice oat character and sweet roasted malt, with barely a trace of raspberries, except maybe contributing a hint of sweetness. Regardless of the lack of fruit, it's just a solid robust stout.
