Cask at Hunter’s Tryst. Clear amber body with a tight off-white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel, earth and wood. Flavour of earth and weak tea. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Well balanced but not the most interesting.

Pours a clear amber colour with an average sized foamy off white head. Aroma is a caramel malt base and rich fruity hops. A moderately sweet taste, caramel, sweet malt and ripe fruit flavours with some peppery hops in the bitter finish.

Tastes a little oxidized from the old joint and stock pub in Birmingham. Otherwise, it’s a completely awesome chewy full bodied beer that is so elegent

Several pints over a weekend in London at various pubs. Clear amber colour with a thin, white head. Aroma of biscuits, gentle citrus fruits, honey, caramel malts. Taste is light bitter. Lightly carbonated. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice Bitter and better than the bottled version.

Cask at the Bridge Bar, Heathrow terminal 3. Thought I had better have one last real ale before emigrating to Japan. Have never liked London Pride much, but was pleasantly surprised! Clear amber colour with small beige head. Aroma is malty, cereal, touch of stink. Taste not bad, lots of malt, bit of cream, very grainy. Not much bitterness, touch of fruit and some nuttiness. Bit floral too. Not half as bad as I remembered it being, but at the same time, fairly bland. --- Beer merged from original tick of London Pride (Cask) on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Tap at Churchill's arms London. Copper color short offwhitr head. Taste malty and grassy, biscuits, caramel, with grassy bittering hops and hints of lemon. Smoother than the export version, less sharp, much more velvetu. A classic bitter, juicy fruity aftertaste, flat carbonation medmium body. Yeah, something to be proud of, somehow.
