(Cask at GBBF, London, 4 Aug) Colour is amber with foamy head. Nose is malty, nutty with dried fruit and some hop aroma. Taste starts malty, turns fruitier with citrus, orange, peaches and a balanced resiny bitterness in the finish. Rather dry. Good, but mainstreamish bitter.

Cask @ GBBF 2006. Clear amber colour. Has a fruity aroma with some roasted hints. Fruity malty flavor. Leaving you with a fruity finish with some bitterness.

[Cask at GBBF] Clear amber. Sweetish and lightly roasty. Medium bodied and somewhat fruity with notes of sulphur. Not very interesting.

Draught at the Cob Web Inn, Boscastle:Orangey coloured, thin fluffy head; light bitter-malty taste, light but deceptive bitter-aromatic aftertaste; all in all quite drinkable, but a bit watery........

Cask gravity at Kent beer festival. Normally a favourite of mine, but this was very bland and uninteresting. No real hop or malts to overly mention. 500ml pasteurised bottle. Crystal clear deep copper colour with lasting beige head. Boiled sweet aroma and caramel, malt and a bit of hop. I like this on draught, but this lacks the depth in the mouth. Green hoppy finish is very good. Would be better if it didn’t have that hollowness in the middle due to the pasteurisation 3.2

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet flowery, while the flavor is sweet malty, as well as slightly fruity with a dry flowery end. The body is thin.
