This American brown ale was brewed with pale chocolate malt, flaked oats, and dark crystal malt. We added 3.5 pounds per barrel of toasted coconut to the beer in the whirlpool and post-fermentation. The notes of caramel and chocolate pair perfectly with the bright coconut flavor.

Draft - Dark Nutty and some coconut with toast. Deep brown with a rich light beige head. Dark roasty notes and lots of nutty notes. Subtle coconut is lost in the rich notes.

Sampled on draft at Dad’s pub this beer poured a very dark brown color with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy tan head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was nutty, malty and had a touch of vanilla. The flavor was roasty, malty, vanilla, a hint of coconut, toasty malts and nut. The flavor got richer as it warmed. Medium length finish. Medium body. Decent.
