On tap at Half Door, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of roasted malt and light coffee. Flavour is intense, with lots of coffee, harsh roasted malt, some earthiness and bitter hops. Balanced well, with abrasively roasted coffee on the finish. I like this, though it's just a tad uncohesive.

Draft - Dark chocolate and roast and chocolate. Jet black brown with a rich light brown head. Dark sweet and chocolate.

On tap at Half Door Brewing. Pours black with medium beige head. Roasted, malty, chocolate, coffee, moderate sweetness, some bitterness in finish. Bit watery, medium bodied. Bit light for imperial stout.
