0,33L bottle, BB 03.01.14. Pours clear copper with nice white head. The head stays for a long time. Aroma is very intense pine, honey, malt, floral. Taste follows the nose: honey, malt, very floral, pine. Finish is nice grapefruit bitter with floral tones. Alcohol is noticeable, but well hidden for 8,8 ABV. The overall "floral" feeling isnβt my favorite, but itβs still very nice beer.

Bottle from Uto Beer, Borough Market, Borough, Southwark, London purchased Fri 17th January 2014 consumed Sun 19th January 2014. Pours warm gold, white filmy head and a hoppy haze. Very full on in mouth, big hopy onslaught but backed up witha very rich vein of sweet malts. Lemony, really rich, bitter. Nicely bittersweet, nice tingle from the hops, v.good. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle at home, from Ales by Mail, 15/01/14. Pours dark amber with a moderate off white covering that veers edgeward. Nose is caramel malt, bitter grapefruit, pine, sticky toffee pudding, syrup, bitter orange, woody notes, light smoke. Taste comprises a big caramel malt kaboom, bitter grapefruit, candied sugars, sticky mango, dank hops. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, sweetish finale with hop bitterness. Nice DIPA of the malt lead variety.

Sweet and heavy aroma with fruity hops. Flavour is also rather sweet and heavy with fruity hops and caramel. Also some woody tones. Finishes with lingering bitterness. Some alcohol in the background which does not disturb much. Too sweet but not bad anyway.

Clear amber color, small steady off-white head. Strong "hop oily" aroma. Pine and resin. Full-bodied. Piney and resiny hoppy flavor, very strong palate. Intensive DIPA but same time decent drinkability for this ABV. Not bad.

330 ml bottle. Pours reddish amber with a fine head - that stays well. Aroma has honey, sweet dried fruits, sweet malt, floral hops - actually reminds me barleywine. Taste is also a bit barleywine-like. First its refreshing, a bit sweet, just like having a spoonful of rowan chutney. Then more hop bitterness ensues, nicely balanced with malt sweetness. Resiny and oily notes give way to bitter, sweet and long aftertaste. Some hop candy lingering around even longer. Great beer, could easily be one of my favourites.

330ml bottle. Pours dark amber with a medium head. Aroma is piney mango hops with burnt caramel and alcohol. Taste has faint mango hops and caramel to start and a bitter piney hop finish. A bit too much malt heavy.
