On tap at John B Pub, pours black with a small off-white head. Aroma is massive, with moderate roasted malt, wood, Belgian yeast and some vinous notes. Flavour is very woody, with big woody oak notes, red wine tannins, and roasted malt. Massive depth and flavour here, with a dry woody palate. Excellent.

Draught at John B Pub, Coquitlam
Black color. Some smell of Band Aid, moderate alcohol, light roasted. The body is not very strong, also because the alcohol is very prominent; roasted malts and some Belgian yeast that doesn't fit in the picture, some acidity too. Flavors clashes here, and the alcohol burns.
Disjointed.

Draft - Sweet, dark fruity notes, booze and chocolate. Jet brown with a small head. Dark and fruity esters, weird bitterness, weird aftertaste and just weird and unexplainable. Not good.

Pilot beer. Imperial Belgian stout aged in Willamette Valley Pinot Noir barrels. Smells like old wine barrel. Tastes like barrel. Finish is malt and brett funkiness. Finish is best thing about this, until then it’s a bad wine.
