3 Fonteinen Hommage is the result of macerating hand-picked whole sour cherries and raspberries on young lambic for at least four months, in a proportion of 760 to 800 grams of raspberries and 200 to 240 grams of sour cherries per litre of lambic. This fruit lambic is then blended again with more lambic to obtain a minimum intensity of 35% fruit. Hommage is a bodied raspberry lambic beer, with an intense deep red forest fruit bouquet. This unfiltered and unpasteurised lambic is all-natural with no artificial juices, syrups, or sugars added.

0,75l bottle at home. deep red color, small pink head. smells of cherries, marzipan, light oxidation, raspberries, funky, grassy, spices. very nice smell. light to medium body, soft carbonation. tastes of cherries, citric, grassy, some raspberries, oak, nutty, marzipan. finishes lightly dry and lightly sour with notes of cherries, marzipan and raspberry notes. yeah, this is lovely, very different from most modern Hommage blends. This is light in ABV, yet still has a lot going for it. Also not the lactic bomb which seems to be more and more common. Raspberries are there, but also not dominating. Great stuff.

Sampled @2022 . Pours a dark orange-red. Taste is mushrooms, mild red fruityness, intense acetic acid - yet still OK. Taste is full, funky, intense complexity. Aged red candy, milder - way milder - acetic acid than expected from the nose. Quite balanced at this point in time. Lovely !

0.375 l bottle from 'Keepin it hoppy', No. 57 18 - 19, bottled in March 2019. Hazy, pale reddish with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, sourish, intensely fruity aroma of raspberry, redcurrant, lots of lemon and light wood. Slightly sweet, gently sour, rather fruity taste of raspberry, redcurrant, some lemon, light vinegar and a touch of wood, followed by a medium long, gently tart, moderately funky, quite woody-dry and a bit vinegary finish. Medium body, gently astringent, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very decent Framboise, quite rough and rustic, somewhat vinegary unfortunately. Not as complex as expected, yet rather balanced.

Aroma is goed fruitig, smaak ook, maar dan komen die bekende zuren van de hommage op spelen, redelijk zuur, het vindt al brandend een weg door je slokdarm, als het niet zo vervelend zuur was, zou het prima zijn. Maar ik denk dat dit niet de slechtste is

Bottle at Grand Delancey, 17/18: pours reddish with small head. Aroma is loads of raspberry, general berriness, mellow funkiness. Taste is moderately sour, somewhat sweet, delightful berry notes. Raspberry is really the ideal proportion here. Lingering finish. Dry notes. Quite good.

Good lord, just loads of fruit. Very tart. This is three parts raspberry, one part sour cherry, and the balance is exactly what I hoped for. Amazing that something like this can be had for under 10 Euro. 😋

Aus der Flasche (Hommage Bio Frambozen Blend No.57 Saison 2018/19 - bottled 27.03.2019/bbe 26.10.2039) im 2021-11 getrunken. Dieses wunderschöne rote Lambic kommt einben tollen Himbeeraroma daher. Am Gaumen überrascht die eher moderate Säure und gar keine Bitterkeit aus Fasslagerung oder direkt von den Himbeerkerne. Wunderbar ausbalanciert dieses Lambic.
