We could wax poetic about the 2003’s leathery, herbal, citric, woody, vanilla, buttery qualities—but the only way to truly appreciate it is to taste it yourself.The one quality we must emphasize is that this is an OUDE LAMBIEK (old Lambic) NOT Geuze. There is some very light sparkle to the beer but it is not intended to have the high champagne-like carbonation that Geuze aims for.
You will see them turning up for special tastings at the best specialty beer bars coast to coast. Quite literally, when this product is gone it can never be made again.

Pale orange amber color. Excellent horse blanket, hay, farmyard in the nose with good sourness. Low carbonation tons of dried apricot and nectarine character. Too low carbonation. Still love the funkiness

Taster showing pale amber with sparse white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of brett and dried apricot. The palate is still and light bodied. Moderately tart with lightly flavors of brett and dried apricot.

Bottle, 2017 Exclusief Oude Lambiek 3 jaar oud according to the label. Color: Lightly hazy orange golden, very thin white head. Aroma: Fruity, wild yeast funk. Taste: Moderate sour and light to moderate sweet, very light bitterness. Fruity notes of sweetish yellow fruit, wild yeast Funk notes. Subtle wood notes. Slightly vinuous.Dry mouthfeel. Very well balanced, not that sour. Great.

Appears to be on tap. Pours an orange copper with no head. Aromas of soft orange, oak, and malts. Flavors of malty fruit and apples with a bit of citrus and soft oak. Little tartness. Easy and pleasant to drink.

Nice bubbly mediumlasting head, hazy orangy yellow-ish color. Aroma is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, bark, oak, old hay, old rope, fruit stones, grass, berry skin, minerals, sorrel, grain, popcorn, hints of sour fruits. Taste is mild sour-ish fruity, sorrel, peach, apricot, fruit stones, oak, grass, berry skin, old rope, bark, hay, flowers, minerals, unripe berries, mild vinegar. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Nice enough, nice taste.
