Known for both its devious nature and its elegant flavor profile, Belgian Golden Strong is a style popularized by the Belgian brewery Duvel. Belgian pilsner malt and German noble hops dance beautifully in this beer, creating a balanced beer that is dry up front, and has a bready and slightly sweet finish. No matter the time of year, this beer is a celebration of life.

HOPS: Hallertau Tradition, Hallertau Saphir.
MALTS: Pilsner, Vienna, Carafoam.

On tap at Kulshan, pours a crystal clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out candied sugar, floral and fruity esters, and Belgian yeast. Flavour is hot, with lots of esters, candied sugar and booze. Messy and poorly balanced, with ineffective yeast expression. Not a good example of the style.

Draft - Lots of fruity esters and some higher alcohol notes. Clear gold with a nice white head. Sweet and fruity esters.
