Canadian NEIPA infused with pineapple, can from Ster, thanks. Very thick, frothy, regularly shaped, dense, lacing, egg-white head over a cloudy peach blonde beer with some vivid, but fine strings of sparkling on the edges. Aroma of sweet red onions, damp marihuana, pineapple juice indeed but not as strong as I was expecting - even less strong than in some other NEIPAs that do not even contain it, stale grapefruit juice, withering kitchen herbs, sweat. Vivid, lush and exotic fruitiness in the onset, pineapple more apparent now than in the nose, mango, kiwi, yellow grapefruit hoppiness early on, rather fizzy carbo but still creamy and smooth mouthfeel as one would expect from the style; lightly biscuity and soggy sandwich-like, juicy malt soil develops under a growing grapefruity hop bitterishness with a wealth of retronasal aromas varying from green onions and marijuana to dried mango and cedar oil, ending dry and quenching. A very dank, quite typical New England IPA, but a tad overcarbonated and lacking a bit in sweet aromatics to fully compete with the top in this style - even in spite of the added pineapple. Still a very pleasant, easily drinkable, generous and rich IPA, though.

Draft - Pine and fruity sweet notes, cloudy gold with a decent white head. Woody hops, sweet fruit and bitterness. Don’t get anything they are stating.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver; nitro
Cloudy golden color with nitro head. Not much aroma. The malt flavor is muffled by the nitro, the hopping is sharp and metallic, no pineapple evidence, and the final has chicory bitterness.
Unpleasant.

On nitro tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy copper golden with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is quite bitter, with lots of dry floral, citrus hops. Flavour is aggressive, with lots of bitter floral hops and a toasted biscuity malt backbone. Despite the creamy body from the nitro, there is high astringency; lots of disharmony going on here. Not too bad, but needs work - I also don't get why this is served nitro, as that doesn't lend well to this style.
