Black color, creamy head. Light biscuity aroma. Good body strength, strong roasted malt flavor, coffee, limited sourness from the roasted malt. Decent.

Bottled, from Kimberley, BC. Black, small head. Coffee aroma. Dry and mild, soft and fairly light bodied. Some tobacco, salt and coffee. Fair bitterness. Nice drinkable stout with enough flavours to keep it interesting.

650mL bottle - pours black. Thinner than I like my stouts. A little sour on the palate. Flavour is dominated more by fruit than chocolate. Drinkable, but definitely disappointing.

Bottle: Poured a deep black color stout with a big dark brown foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of sweet chocolate malt with some subtle coffee notes. Taste is also dominated by some semi-sweet chocolate notes with some subtle but well balance coffee notes. Body has a nice creamy texture with some good carbonation. I thought this was very well done for the style, nothing extreme in here but very well balanced overall.
