comes in what is pretty much the most metal bottle ever conceived. + points for that. Beer is dark as night and the head is as brown as Bigfoot’s fur. The delightful head leaves us a little bit too soon though. Smells roasted coffee like and all. There is a taste of coffee in the beer with a little alcohol tinge somewhere around there. It isn’t full bodied, but it feels like something is going on...

650 bottle from BC Liquor store, Vancouver. I carried these bottles through Seattle to Portland and I think this was the last one. Black beer with tan lasting head. Very dry stout. Bit empty in mouth. Some charcoal. OK if not exciting

Deep dark black stout with a dense moka head. Nice aroma of cold coffee, chocolate and soy sauce, with light hops notes. In mouth, powdery chocolate malt with a rather light body for a stout, light lactic notes, and faint hops. Thanks to Jean Marc in BC. 3.2 August 2021. A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with dark coffee, light powdery character, light mineral notes, pleasant. On tap at brewery. 3.5

A black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet and slightly roasted. The flavor is very malty and dry and roasty, but also contains slight notes of soy sauce.

Black with small fast fading mocha head. Nice bitter chocolate nose.Bittersweet chocolate taste, not much else. Far too thin, no noticeable roastiness. Not a very good example of the style

Very dark brown colour. Green, roasty aroma with some sweet malts. Slightly malty, nutty flavour. Quite green. It’s not bad though, but I will have to revisit in a few weeks.
